Hi, I’m Katya!

I’m 32 years old, currently living in Manchester. I was originally born in Germany in 1991. I left when I was 3 and in 2022, I went back for the first time for a solo trip and have fallen in love with solo travel. Since then, I have been to a few different countries and cities on my own and my list of places to visit is continually growing. I’ve always loved to travel with friends, family, and I’ve always documented my trips in one way or another, journals, videos, photos...

My background is in film, I studied film and TV production in college and then film production in University. I worked in a recording studio as a photographer/videographer and then in 2016, I moved into the gaming industry, where I spent 7 years working in motion capture for facial animation at Cubic Motion, which later became part of Epic Games.
