Film Review: Paper Towns

So I've just finished watching the movie Paper Towns, the adaptation of the book by John Green. I've wanting to watch this movie since it came out in summer so I was so excited to finally see it, I thought I'd share my initial thoughts!

First of all, this is the second John Green book to be turned into a film, and it has a lot of similar vibes to it, but at the same time it's completely different. This story is a lot lighter and way more happier than TFIOS. It's like a summer road trip movie mixed with solving clues and riddles. (If you want to see the full synopsis, I wrote it in my book review..or you can Google it!).

I think the book has translated really well into film, the characters where just as I imagined them. There was also some scenes that I forgot about in the book so when I saw them in them, I was like "oh yeah!!" and of course I was looking for John's cameo (which I never found so I ended up Googling it after).  Also, if you've seen TFIOS, then there is a surprise in Paper Towns which I did not expect but it's really cool!

Overall, if you've read the book and haven't seen the film yet, I definitely recommend it!

Let me know what you thought of the Paper Towns movie if you've seen it!
