Book Review: Unsaid Things by McFly

I've been delaying this blog post for a while because there's so many things I want to say about this book and I just needed to figure out how to get all down in a blog post! I got this book last Friday, and finished reading it on Sunday. It's the complete life story of my all time favourite band, McFly. This book goes into extreme detail about their individual personal lives, going all the up to how they first meet and then their lives together as a band and everything that went along with all of their success. When I first started reading it, I wasn't expecting to see so much. After being a McFly fan since the age of 12, you think you know all there is to know about your favourite band! It was so interesting finding out the reality of everything that was going on behind all the tours and the albums. I loved the way the book was written, it starts off with Tom telling his story, from his childhood all the way up until he meets Danny, and then it cuts to Danny's story leading up to how he meets Tom, and then the storylines join and go on to talk about forming McFly, meeting Busted and of course, meeting Dougie and Harry. The book was so much darker than I was expecting. They've had such crazy lives, individually and as a band, and that craziness can have all sorts of effects on people and relationships For example, the album Wonderland, is one of my favourites, but it turns out that at that time, there was a lot of problems behind the scenes and it was a very miserable time for the whole band, something I never would have had any idea of, even though I went to Wonderland Tour. Of course now, the band have made it through all the hard times and there are plenty of good times to read about in the book too, it's just full of funny and unbelievable stories! Whether your a McFly fan or not, this book is definitely worth a read.

Have you read this book? Let me know what you thought!
