Monthly Favourites! December 2014

It's already the end of December and it's time for me to share another 10 things I've been loving this month!

1. Harry Potter PJ's from Primark

If you're a Harry Potter fan, you need to get yourself to Primark because they have a massive Harry Potter section! T-shirts, leggings, hoodies, socks and these PJ's that I bought!

2. Interstellar

I loved this film, I think it's the best sci-fi film I've seen in a while! See my review here!

3. Bletchley Park

We actually went here on the last day of November, but I thought I'd include this month because I spent the first few days of December looking through all the photos I took there and editing the videos. It was a really nice place and you can feel the history as you walk around it. It was also really cool to see some of the props and sets that was used in The Imitation Game. See my blog about it here!

4. Christmas!

Obviously I loved Christmas this month! We had another fun day and on Boxing Day we finally got some snow, even though it was only a little, but it was the first time in 4 years that it snowed on Christmas so I was excited :)

5. The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies

Another obvious one I think! I'm sad it's over but it was a perfect ending to an amazing trilogy! See my review here!

6. Doctor Who Christmas Special

On Christmas day, after we'd had our dinner and opened presents, we sat and watched the Doctor Who Christmas Special. I love the Christmas Special's of Doctor Who! They're always just a little bit over the top, this one was very Inception-y!

7. Night At The Museum: Secret Of The Tomb

Another film. I watched this yesterday. Just like The Hobbit, it was a nice ending to an awesome trilogy. It was weird seeing Robin Williams on screen again. See my review here!

8. Looking For Alaska by John Green

I got this book for Christmas, I'm not really a fan of the blog posts and videos that people make where they just list everything they got for Christmas, they feel a bit braggy to me and that's not really what Christmas is about anyway, it's different to share with friends and family. Anyway! I did want to talk about this book because it's by one of my favourite YouTuber's, John Green. After watching all the Vlogbrothers videos, it's so exciting to finally be reading his books and see all of the YouTube inside jokes start to make sense, like the headband with the fox head and the Strawberry Hill! I've almost finished reading this book and so far, I'm really enjoying it. I've seen so many of John Green's videos where he reads bits from his books, so when I read it, I feel like I can hear John Green in my head haha! I'm excited to read the next books and then finally catch up with the films too!

9. Twitter Mug

Ok, I did just say that I don't like listing off presents but I really wanted to share this mug! It's just so funny!

10. Lovell Telescope

Me and my dad took a trip to Macclesfield to do a bit of filming and then after we'd finished, we went to see the the Lovell Telescope and Science Museum. It was really cool, it's so huge! I wrote a blog about it so you can see more here if you're interested.

And that's it! My top 10 things I've been loving this month!
