Hour of Code!

Today I wanted to share something that I think is really cool, you may of heard about it, Hour of Code! Hour of Code is basically a movement, all around the world, to encourage more people to learn coding, to bring coding into schools and overall just teach people how and why coding is important! (This is probably a better explanation!) I really love what they are doing over there so I wanted to share it! When you visit code.org, you basically complete a series of challenges that teach you little bits of code and then test you on it. You don't need any coding experience before hand, you can start as a beginner and then the challenges gradually get more difficult, if you get stuck there's videos of hints and advice by the creators of Hour of Code, so it's not impossible to complete! You can also learn javascript, create your own games and lots of other fun things! When you complete your Hour of Code you get a certificate that you can share on Facebook and Twitter and you can print it out too so it looks cool! I completed my Hour of Code last night and I'm definitely going to be doing more because once you finished your Hour of Code, there is so much more that you can do and continue to learn. It's really fun to do and it may not even take a whole hour to complete. So, I want to challenge as many of you to get online to try out some challenges and see what you can create! Share your progress online so that other people can see and get involved too!

You can get one of these cool certificates by completing Hour of Code at code.org!

Thanks for reading!
