TV Junkie: Doctor Who Season 2

So this was the first season with David Tennant as the Doctor and I absolutely loved it. David Tennant is so good as the Doctor, I like him so much better than Christopher Eccleston.
There is a lot more character development in this season. The first season was all about learning about the Doctor, who he is, what he does and how & why he does it. Now in the this season, we get to see more personal relationship development, makes you start getting attached to character and empathise with the show. That being said, there is still plenty of fun adventures and gripping stories. One thing I found funny was that this season came out in 2006 and there was an episode where they go to the 2012 London Olympics, which at the time was in the future, but I'm watching now in 2014, and the 2012 Olympics has been and gone, so I was watching them go into the future when they were actually going into the past! My brother told me that when David Tennant regenerates into Matt Smith, it's really emotional. What he didn't tell me was the end of Season 2 was really emotional. It was so horrible watching Rose say goodbye to the Doctor! I loved Rose and the Doctor and I'm going to miss seeing them together! The season ended with Catherine Tate appearing in the tardis in a wedding dress, so assuming that she's going to be the Doctor's new partner, I'm excited to see how that turns out!
