Film Review: Gone Girl

My dad and I went to watch Gone Girl today, by David Fincher. It's actually based on a book that I didn't know about but the reason I wanted to see it was because of an article I read about how it was
edited on Premiere Pro, which is what I use. The film is about a married couple and the wife goes missing, so the husband is left to pick up the pieces. The film wasn't at all what I expected but thats not a bad thing. It's one of those films that sets up the story in a way that makes you think one thing and then all of a sudden something happens that makes you change your mind and so your sat there watching it with no idea where this films going. It is rated 18 and there is violence warning but the film overall is not too shocking. It's more about the drama in the story and trying to figure out what's really going on. It's a really gripping film with some funny one liners here and there. If you've seen any other David Fincher films, like The Social Network, you'll know that he likes working with Trent Reznor, so the soundtrack to this film is full awesome music from him too. IMDB have given this film 8.6 which is really good, but the ending of the film kinda annoyed me a little bit but it's still good so I'll give it 8 :) Let me know what you think if you've seen it, if you haven't then here's the trailer!
