Apple Live Event

So today was another Apple Live Event, launching the release of the new Mac OS, Yosemite. Thankfully, the live stream for this event was event was so much better than the previous one.
The event started Tim talking about the success of the new iPhones sales and announcing the release in China, followed by Craig recapping iOS 8 and Yosemite from the previous keynote, and announcing the iOS update, 8.1. Yosemite is available for download today and iOS 8.1 is available on Monday, both updates are free.

The start of the keynote was just a lot of recapping, it took a while to get into it but they finally got into some new products. After announcing the Apple Watch recently, this event wasn't a big one, they just refreshed and updated some existing products, starting with the iPad Air. The iPad Air 2 is insanely thin, you could put 2 of them on top of each other, and it still won't be thicker than the previous iPad. Apart from that, they have updated all the insides with graphics 2.5x faster and the CPU is 40% faster. They have also added Touch ID which is awesome for people with iPhone 5S and above who are used to having Touch ID on their phones and then try and unlock their iPad's that way!  The camera has also had a nice update, adding slo-mo, time-lapse and burst mode. You can see more about the iPad Air 2 here and in the video below. They also updated the iPad minis, adding a 3rd to the collection, also offering a gold option too.

Apple also released a new iMac with retina 5k display! They look insane so instead of trying to explain everything, here's the video so you can see for yourself :)
